Tabs across the top
An order, a supplier request, a company and a letter open side by side, each tab named after what it holds. Cmd-T, Cmd-W and Cmd-1 to 9 work as in a browser, tabs can be dragged into another order, and they come back on the next launch.

The desk, not a copy of it
Every tab loads the live desk from your workspace's address. A change rolled out to the browser is in the window at the same moment; there is no second version to download.

Notifications on the Mac
What the bell decides to tell you reaches the Mac's own notifications, with the count on the Dock icon. A notification clicked opens its tab and brings the window forward; closing the window does not stop the bell.

Signed in as in the browser
Google or a passkey on the desk's own sign-in page, or a code from Your account. The Mac is then listed under Your account, where it can be signed out.

Files where you expect them
A quotation's PDF or an Excel export lands in Downloads under its own name, and a terramine:// link in a letter or a chat opens the record in the app.
